Preparation Instructions for HiPP Dutch Stage 2 Combiotic Follow-on Infant Milk Formula
- Boil Water: Boil fresh water and allow it to cool down to 120°F (50°C).
- Measure Water: Pour 2/3 of the total necessary amount of boiled water into a clean and sterilized bottle.
- Add Formula Powder: Using the scoop provided with your formula (scoop sizes vary by brand), add the correct number of leveled scoops of powder (1 leveled scoop of powder per 1 oz / 30ml of water).
- Mix Formula: Close the bottle with the nipple and cap, then shake vigorously to mix.
- Add Remaining Water: Add the remaining 1/3 of the water to the bottle and shake again.
- Cool Formula: Cool the formula to drinking temperature (approximately 98°F or 37°C). ALWAYS test the temperature of the milk before feeding to avoid scalding or burning your baby.
NOTE: Although many users report no negative consequences from using distilled water without boiling, we do not recommend this approach per US FDA guidelines.

Important Storage and Usage Information
- After Opening: Once the inner foil bag containing your formula is opened, use it within 2-3 weeks. Avoid storing it in areas with high humidity or heat.
- Consumption: Consume the prepared formula within one hour of its preparation. Discard any unused formula after one hour.
- Microwaving: Do not microwave bottles or formula, as this can create hot spots and burn your baby.
